His Wife is Begging Me to Love Her Husband

DEAR AUNTIE ABENA,

Good evening.

I’m a young christian (Catholic) lady of 25yrs with a 5year old daughter. I left my baby’s father when my daughter was just 2 years. He used to abuse me verbally and physically all because I had just completed SHS, and I didn’t do well in one of the subjects (maths).

I sent my child to my mom and I got a job as a sales person and that was what kept us moving. Fast forward there was this Muslim customer, male of 32 years now, who used to come to my work place to patronize from us. His reasons for liking me were that I’m very hardworking and beautiful too.

He asked of my educational background and then decided to help me further my education. He sent me back to school to rewrite all my papers and I came out with flying colors. It is after my results came out that he made his intentions known to me and also told me he has a wife with a child too.

Note that: he knew I had a child but was still very nice to me and my daughter.

Now I’m going into the nursing training college and he has agreed to pay my fees but I’m not ready to be a second wife to a Muslim because of our religious differences. His wife got to know of our affair and has been begging me to marry her husband because she really likes me very much and doesn’t want the husband to bring any other lady she can’t cope with.

I’m confused right now. I want to end the relationship with him but he’s spent so much into me already and also if I leave him, I don’t know how I’ll be able to pay my fees. Please what do I do now? I’ll be reading comments. No insults please I’ve really been through a lot at my age.
